Pankookis 10 Posted January 6, 2020 Posted January 6, 2020 Hi. I have had several experiences with the server changing movies when refreshing metadata. I have "Automatically refresh metadata from the internet" set to 90 days for a library and I might have refreshed manually sometimes. But scrolling through my sons kids movies, I tend to find some titles that have changed from time to time. There still the old pictures so it's just the pure metadata that's changed, often to some title with a very similar name. But since the original title has it's metadata with (I guess) correct links to TMDB etc, it shouldn't change? Worth noting is that my sons library has swedish set as preferred metadata language, and I'm not sure if this problem has occurred with my other libraries that has english as metadata language. The title I found yesterday is the movie Garfield 2, called Gustaf 2 in swedish. Suddenly it's a skit show with Robert Gustafsson in his library. I don't have any logs since I don't know when this has happened, but I just want to throw the question out there if this "can happen"? Does refreshing metadata do what "Identify" is doing? Or does TMDB change ID's just like that so the ID a had scanned suddenly points to another movie on their site? Thanks

I'll try to catch logs if this happen again (and I'll notice it ^^) It should have had the correct ID since it had identified the movie from the initial scan.
Luke 42086 Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Yes please try to reproduce. This may have been caused by your settings for that library.
