Please help plugins and online content

Hi I love emby it's definitely worth the money although I feel It lacks when it comes to things outside the content you own can somebody find a way to make it more open source in terms of plugins or maybe make it compatible with plugins from kodi now I'm not talking about pirate content I'm talking things like bbc I player itv hub etc I think a lot of people would agree we want one place for everything and emby would be perfect for itto put it in terms

The feature request I would love is kodi plugins compatibles in emby not using kodi

And a way we can launch side apps through emby on windows and android

Kodi plugin compatability would mean people don't have to rely on admin alone for plugins please someone come up with a real solution

Also I know it's open for developers to make plugins but to be real most people don't want the hassle of learning coding just to add a YouTube function or catch up tv player when they pay monthly for a service

Hi, we have a lot of open source plugins already, but yes obviously more would always be nice. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for the quick reply like I said I'm not a dev but is there a way I could take a kodi plugin such as BBCiplayer and use the information in it to make a emby plugin if you catch my drift

OK 2 last questions is there a template for emby plugins that I could maybe mess around with to try and make my own TV plugin and also on the tune in is there a way to remove excess folders for instance the only radio channels I want are in one folder when I try to delete the others it doesn't work although it does give me tbe option to delete

Perhaps you could help me with something possibly so I have tune in radio but it's all folders with in folders what I want is to be able to pick the stations I want and have them in one single folder instead of by location, sport, talk etc plus I can't delete any of the folders either I just want to be able to personalise it with out having to add it to collection or playlist I would like to be able to have a folder on the dash enter it and all my chosen stations there is that something you can help me do please
