Upgrade To Windows 10

I had been running Emby on my HTPC using Windows 7 and Media Center with a Ceton InfiniTV 4 tuner cable card. I also have a dedicated Emby server .

 

I recently upgraded to Windows 10 on my HTPC now using Emby Theatre. My question is can i use the Ceton InfiniTV 4 tuner cable card installed on my HTPC for live TV or do I have to move the Cable card to my Emby Server for it to work?

I think the only way to use a ceton tuner in emby is via a pvr plugin. I think a few around here use the nextpvr addon with their ceton tuners

If I remember correctly, there are no Win 10 drivers for ceton?

I have read that peeps have successfully used windows 8 drivers for the Ceton .

 

I’m just not sure if I can use the Ceton cable card in my HTPC or doI need to move the ceton cable card to my Emby server?

I would put it in the server machine, so the Emby server has direct access.
