Hi, i got black screen after login with the app for android tv.

Tryed to search in the community, but the links for the suggested version of the app are all expired.

Hi.  You should just install the app from the Google Play store.  What kind of device are you trying to install it on?

Okay, so this box is not running a true Android TV OS, I imagine?  What version of Android is it?  My guess is that it is 8+ but doesn't have support for the proper Android TV launcher...?

Ok now it's clear. So, can i do anything to make my tv box compatible with the Android TV's apps?

You could install a true Android TV OS on it if it is compatible with it.

It appears that you have one of the boxes with the newer Amlogic S905X3 SoC.  Head over to Freaktab forum and see if one of the ATV ports will work on your box.  I have the Beelink GT1 mini 2 with the same SoC and running Minifreak's ATV ROM.  Emby for ATV works great on it..........

 

Also, you have the option of dual booting into CoreELEC and there you can using the Embuary skin with the Emby app, it is fantastic.  It uses the same server data as any other Emby client.
