Question about my folder permissions

All right with you?

 

I am having trouble updating movie images on my server.

 

I choose the image and it is in infinite loop, not low.

 

Does anyone else have this problem?

Would you know where the logs are?

 

I searched and did not find

Near the bottom of the Emby Dashboard menu (under "Advanced") is the "Logs" link.  You can then right-click and save the required logs and attach them to a post in this forum.

I do not know where the log files are saved on Linux.

You don't need to know - just follow the above instructions to find the Emby logs through Emby's own interface.

I did the above process and got to the logs through the interface.

 

But unfortunately my log file is too large, it is impossible to download.

 

Is there another way?

Yes, restart the server, then reproduce the problem again, then use the latest log file and it should be smaller.

That's surprising...  Sure, it's usually too large to copy and paste as text into a forum post - so what's required is to download a copy from Emby, as a file, and then use the forum facility to attach files to posts (you may need to click "More Reply Options" to see it).

I have a server for testing and when testing for it, I realized that is normal.

Well, as a (retired) computer professional, yes, in principle.  But I know nothing of the internals of Emby, so my interpretation may be way off - you'd do best to wait for the developers to comment.

During the time of this log file, what time did you try to update images? I don't see any of that activity here.

I restarted the server and then I tried to update an image

Even restarting the emby server and VPS do not succeed in updating as images.

 

Unfortunately when selecting the image, it is in infinite loading loop.

Only thing that stands out in reference to images is permissions.
