Upload bandwidth requirements for streaming to phone

Ok so I have a haswell core i5 16gb ram server cache on os ssd. So I'm ok on the horsepower side. I cannot get a reliable stream to my phone (Lumia 1020) I've done some fiddling today and the cpu and ram useage is miniscule when I try on my local network and 3/4g...

Only thing I can think of is upload speed, is 0.8mbit enough???

I'll get some logs together when I've done work tomoz.

If you have your phone's app set to a lower bitrate, then yes. You need to allow for overhead and that your provider tells you the max. However you should be able to stream at 500 Kbps. Not sure what the quality would be like though.

I couldn't find any settings for bitrate in the wp app... I'll ask Scott!!
