jxb1234 9 Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 Is there a way to see the progress of thumbnail image creation? I've set it to create images every 5 secs for recordings but its not worked. I get a grey box when seeking instead of an image. Some other libraries have successfully generated thumbnails for seeking. Dashboard doesn't show what tasks are running.
Luke 42083 Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 Hi, yes, it's either part of the library scan or the thumbnail scheduled task, so you can monitor their progress.
jxb1234 9 Posted January 3, 2020 Author Posted January 3, 2020 Thanks. Seek images are working for tv shows and movies now, but not for recordings (grey box instead of the image appears when seeking). I've tried library refreshing meta, and running the image creation task.

jxb1234 9 Posted January 3, 2020 Author Posted January 3, 2020 Yes. I'd recorded it then enabled thumbnails. I've deleted that recording and recorded something else and thumbs worked. So I guess emby just got a bit confused with all the settings hs I changed whilst setting it it etc. It's fine now.
