vdatanet 1617 Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 (edited) My ISP provider is broadcasting IPTV for members only which I can watch via VLC. As far as I know its UDP multicast stream via RTP. I've made a m3u playlist like this: ... #EXTINF:-1, [030] Movistar Estrenos HD rtp://@239.0.5.111:8208 ... Channels work perfect in m3u Emby tuner, but I have problems selecting audio tracks. I can't select the audio track and Emby picks a random audio track. The same happens when recording. How can I?: 1. Select audio track during playback 2. Record all audio tracks spanish.txt -> spanish track was picked english.txt -> english track was picked english.txt spanish.txt Edited January 1, 2020 by vdatanet
vdatanet 1617 Posted January 1, 2020 Author Posted January 1, 2020 I've found a workaround, I convert multicast IPTV to HTTP unicast using udpxy,
Luke 42078 Posted January 3, 2020 Posted January 3, 2020 Currently the way rtp is handled we don't have the stream info ahead of time, so you essentially end up with whatever track ffmpeg chooses as part of the transcoding process. We'll be reworking the way live streams are opened and managed in the coming months. The http protocol will always get the bulk of our attention and testing, but the changes will apply to all protocols.
