tv shows new season covers issue

Hi

 

possibly this may have been covered before (tried searching)

so i have added a new season to my tv show collection, i have noticed its not updating the season cover image. i used

to hit edit images for season and search would give me season covers but doesn't seem to be finding any so have to manually download and apply.. is there a solution for this ? normally pulled images from tvdb i think?

Workaround in the meantime would be to enable the MovieDb image provider for seasons on your TV library.

Go to Dashboard-Library and select your library then enable Show Advanced setting and scroll down to Series/Season/Episode Image Fetchers.

Erm, just wondering, is it recommended to actually move movie.db to the top of the image provider list for TV Series. Will it make a difference as I have it third at the moment.

You won't break anything by trying it.

Really depends on metadata,  if first provider fills in all the blanks there is nothing to get from the second provider.

 

Look at movies, in theory only RT rating is used from OMDB when it is not the first provider. 

 

But this is about images so, you can look at lets say Thumbs.  They only exist on Fanart.tv, but are usually not the first provider.

Well I tried it for one series, and it at least had an effect. All the Season images have got physically bigger and they're almost all the same now (instead of being completely the same). There's 13 seasons and 9,11 and 12 are different. Maybe thats all they had.
