Thanks all.  Glad it's working for some.  I would encourage those who can to test a fresh installation to see if you develop the same issues I did.

In the meantime, I have decided to retire my own efforts for now.

@pünktchenif you ever feel like it’s time to expand the feature set of VirtualTV here’s a suggestion!

I like to keep an instance of Plex running just to mess around with things and use ErsatzTV as my VirtualTV alternative. One really cool feature is alternate schedules. Basically you can use it to schedule programming or subsets of programming based on alternate days/weeks/months. In my case I use it to play episodes of House Hunters only on weekends. Pretty cool.

Another Feature I would like to see it to be able to dictate what time a channel starts showing content... i.e.. I had a Horror channel but the wife wasn't happy that the kids could view it on the main TV during the day. Would be hand to be able to tell a channel only to show programs between certain times... e.g 9pm - 3am

@pünktchennot sure if you've seen this? Library folders populate just fine for my existing channels, but don't appear when setting up new channels (or editing those new channels once set up).

I've seen this, but i don't have an answer. Have you ever successfully created new channels after installation of the last plugin version?

@roakuwas right, it was the folder permissions issue. I realised I was using a different user to create the new channels from the user set up with the existing channels.

How should they? The plugin is not in the catalogue. New versions are always in the start post and i always create a separate post to notify users about updates. But you should know this already after such a long time.

So I posted about Roku crashing a while back,, but then life got in the way of following up.

Anyway I have a channel of videos all with encoding as shown in the screen shot.   I'm only trying to use Playlist mode.  On windows it works fine but Roku crashes immediately whether it's Live or Archive.    No problem with same TV show viewed through Emby libraries.

Shouldnt this be ok?

Whelp, ive gone and something as all my setup is missing on the VirtualTV plugin page. Also the setup page isn't allowing me to save any new info I input so something got hosed.

I still have program data and the plugin is still working but I assume that will end at some point.

I'd like to uninstall and start over. Can anyone tell me where the config files etc live on a Mac so I can do a clean setup?

I'm not sure about the rest of it, but when this has happened to me a couple times before, generating a new API key has fixed this part of it.

After creating a channel with criteria, my refresh guide freezes at ~15%. Any ideas?

Sounds more like a browser caching problem. Anyway, the VirtualTV.xml settings file should be in the configurations subfolder of your plugin directory.

Yeah - that was the first thing I tried. Clearing browser cache and trying different browsers on different machines but same results. Thanks for the info. My setup is not all that complicated so starting from scratch wont be too painful!

No, not really. There's always the chance of a bug that leads to an infinite loop, but with nearly 300 downloads it's a little bit unlikely.
