@pünktchenI have a channel based on a collection which has recently stopped working. I've not changed anything. All other channels work fine.

What info do you need to troubleshoot?

Hi I have been using the VirtualTV Plugin for a little while now, absolutely awesome plugin. My question has to do with bumpers, I have a home video/photos library and have chosen the library and folder for bumpers for my channels, but it doesn't seem to be in between episodes i have refreshed guide and restarted and can't get them to show. What am I doing wrong?, any help is much appreciated thank you.

They will never be shown in the guide! Have you tried to play one of your channels with bumpers?

when it ask for continues playback, please enter API key under playback settings.  is that my own api key?  this pluggin is not working for me and i would love to get it working.  not sure if this being blank is the issue.  i tried entering my api but didn't seem to change.

i have gotten it to work on native but can't on continues playback.  i would edit post but don't see how.

You have to generate a "general" api key under the corresponding section of the server settings. You cannot use a token of any existing user.

i created a fresh api key and used it for a new channel, but it still just hangs/circles.

Ok so i used playlist live and this seems to work about the same?  it is showing continues movies and tv shows so that should be fine for me.

i was wondering if in lang codes for combining movies, i use ITA|FRE for italian and french, but it doesn't populate.  i can do both seperate but no luck with combined.  is there some syntax error i am doing there?  i tried "" as well.

I've been having some issues with the plugin recently (has worked so great since install). I did some digging and it appears that in the settings for each channel the option to choose which folder to pull files from has disappeared. The caption is still there but there's no options listed. I'm not sure that this has anything to do with the plugin no longer working but it may be worth looking at.

I've tried several times since the last update to the virtual tv plug-in app to get it to work and run my virtual channels. It seems to be broken. How do I figure out how to get it working again because I had 20 channels made. More than 20 would be nice but I just want to get my channels back i made. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Mine has also stopped working at some point over the past couple of weeks, all i get is:
Method not found: 'MediaBrowser.Model.Querying.QueryResult`1<MediaBrowser.Model.Dto.BaseItemDto> MediaBrowser.Controller.LiveTv.ILiveTvManager.GetPrograms(MediaBrowser.Controller.Entities.InternalItemsQuery)'.

Obviously you are all using the beta server. I do not, so i will never know of any problem. You should report those kind of errors (method not found or missing method exception) in the server beta section, because it's really a bad behaviour of the Emby devs to break any existing API endpoints without warning the plugin developers beforehand.

Thank you, i didn't understand the error so I was unsure what was causing it.

Latest beta build fixes playback issues for existing channels. However, the dropdown to select folders to pull media from when creating a new channel is still broken.

Bit late to the party here, been using Emby over a year now and just discovered this plugin - instantly spent all day making 20+ channels. 

Was the issue of playback starting from the beginning for every item/channel ever explored further/deemed fixable or is it not possible?

You mean for "Native Playback"? It all depends on the Emby devs.

I just tried a couple of channels on the Android app, and I got the thing where it just plays a minute of black video instead. Remind me again why that happens?
