An Emby Dev said it might be easier to add support to this plugin rather than try make a new one as I did here:

I’d love to have support for audio channels so i could kind of build my own algorithmic playlists.

I've just installed this plugin, but I'm stuck at the 'Include items from the selected Folder(s):' when setting up a channel.  The list of available sources (Libraries) is not populating.  I've selected a User, but their Libraries do not show up.  The Api key has been entered into Playback Settings.  I've tried changing the Channel Content Source, but none allow me to select any sources.  I've restarted the Emby Server.  I've cleared the browser cache.  Thanks in advance.

It turns out that selecting Collections instead of Rules will allow it to create a guide and everything seems to be working but I never had an opportunity to select the source Library nor did I need to specify a Collection.  I also have the above issue of the Premiere label on a lot of shows.

VirtualTV was working fine, but I had to do a fresh install of Emby for reasons. But now I can't get playlist playback to work at all. Both continuous and native playback work fine.

 

Using playlist playback I either get:

-a playback error immediately after hitting play

-a black screen where it hangs on the ts or mp4 intro video depending on which one I picked

The only substantial changes from my previous install is non-default metadata and cache folders and the 0.43 beta server instead of 0.42. Did 0.43 break something?

I've tried everything I can think of. I'll supply logs if needed.

I don't see a way to edit, but just wanted to say 0.43 did break playlist playback. Works again after going back to 0.42.

Confirmed! But it's not something i can repair in the plugin. The used server function is just brocken. Will create a bug report.

There's also an option for this in the channel settings of the plugin: "Set Premiere and Repeat indicators for programs".

This is not a normal behaviour. I would a need a debug log to get further insides.

@hdsuisseI'm really sorry for the very late response. Unfortunately i cannot reproduce your issue. If you are still interested, please use the attached version. Enable debug logging in Emby and the plugin, reproduce your problem and send me the log file.

Hi, no problem. 

In the meantime, I've moved my server from a Synology to a Ugreen. The behavior here is exactly the same. Continuous playback doesn't work, and the live playlist freezes when changing channels.

@hdsuisseAt the time you've added an "Authentication Info" in the Export Settings of the plugin, you've had to enter some "App or Device Name".
As a result a  new device with that same name should have been created in Emby's dashboard under Devices. Did you delete that device from the device list?
Also the user that you've selected in the "Authentication Info" dialog needs to have access to that device in the Access settings of his user profile.

VirtualTV device is there and ok, acces to the device allowed and the device name is unique.

And when you play a channel on your Enigma 2 receiver, can you see the channel is playing in Emby's dashboard?

hi pünktchen, i had time to make some test.

with latest beta 4.9.0.44 and your VirtualTV.dll 2.1.7.1, its working bether, but still crashes from live TV.
