VirtualTV plugin

I can no longer watch my m3u hdhomerun playlist using SparkleTV.  I am not sure what changed nor what is wrong, but I do know I can no longer play this playlist with VLC when in the past I could.  I am able to watch channels directly in Emby, but not outside using the virtualTV generated playlist.  EPG loads fine.

Any suggestions as to what I can check out ?

There's no playback attempt in you log, so i don't know.

Gotcha, that's probably because I started with a new log and never tuned a channel.  Attached is latest log, I first tuned directly from Emby and then from Sparkle using the attached m3u list.  I am not entirely sure this is virtualtv related, but hoping maybe you can shed some light on this or give me a clue.  Thanks for the quick response

how can i get this plugin? I'm using emby on my synology ds918+ (native package) and can't find this plugin there (I have a feeling there should be more plugins in general)

emby version is 4.8.10 and it says its up2date. am i missing something?

Regarding there should be more.....

Quite a few community plugins have to be put into the server plugin directory manually, after manually downloading them. 

Many are not in the catalogue.

It's under the Live TV category in the plugin catalog.

your right, it is

i use the android app for server management most of the time and there most of the plugins don't show up in the catalog, for wathever reason. To confirm i've opened the gui with a webbrowser and they are all there.

Playing with this plugin and seem to be hitting a wall.  I can see the channels I am creating in the plugin:

But when I try and go to the channel in the guide, it's not showing up:

Here's a few screenshots of the settings I have in the configuration page:

Strangely nothing shows up in Save and Preview unless I populate a timeframe in the "newer than" field.  Not sure if other fields have the same effect, I just happened to stubmle on that.

I tried all teh various playback options, all had the same effect.  I did see a channel one time in teh guide, but it didn't have any content and when I came back after checking the library content, it was gone (didn't get a picture of that).

Also, in doing some reasearch, seems like I may need an API key to make this work?  If so, I'm getting this error which I am assuming is not a good sign:

This is intentional. At least one rule has to be evaluated to get any outcome. What prevents you to fill in anything for release date?

No. Only if you plan to use continuous playback.

The channels ultimately show up, but it's a couple of hours after I hit save, so not sure what I am doing wrong.  For now, so long as they eventually show up, I'm good.  Thanks.

all Works ok, but sometimes when i zap between the channels, Emby Live-TV crash and no more playback of any channel is possible, only restarting Emby brings all back.

You have to run the Refresh Guide task to populate your programs!

Does it only happen if you "zap" between the channels or also if you stop one before starting an other?

Because you have set "Playlist" playback for your channels. But that only works with Emby apps, while the exported channels will always use "Continuous" playback.

it happens when i zap between VirtualTV Channels. With the enigma2 Receiver is no stop function, it is like broadcast Channel, zap from one to the other.

with "Continuous" playback (Live) in the Channel Stettings, i have the same issue with the enigma2 Receiver plus the Android App can not play the Virtual Cnannels any more.

I think @Testeris using Emby stable with the plugins export api, so it's probably a change in the beta version of Emby that leads to your problem. I'll try to find a fix.
