I may want to ensure Star Trek Voyager isn't played - Never liked that one much. Thanks and have a good evening

Yup, that would be another way of doing it, personally I found this solution to be easier

It's an update problem of the selection fields. It will be fixed in the next version that will be coming soon. For now just change the user once more after you have selected Playlists as source and MusicVideos as type. Btw. I have not forgotten your other problem with the playback start...

Unfortunately that doesnt solve it for me, i change the user to all the users on my server and the playlist section doesnt change, i'll wait for the next release and try the new version, thank you That is awesome, no haste, it isnt as big of an issue for the music videos, i havent seen it with mixed content channels (yet)

The longest my refresh ran before completing, was over 3 days. Emby was not usable during this time. It's not a plugin issue though.

Checking the plugin, I notice that the channel is no longer editable and cannot be deleted. I created another channel and now everything works as it should except that I have a blank Virtual Channel in my guide that I cannot remove. Could you have a look at that please? One other thing, the guide does not show Season# Episode# nor Episode title. Could this be added please? Thanks Paul

I tried this app out and it was pretty easy to get up and going. My question is if I set a channel with TV shows and tell it to shuffle the shows but place the episodes in order, will it adjust the channel lineup if I don't watch an episode. For example, say I have Arrested Development S01E01 slated for a 5:00 start and AD S01E02 slated for 7:30. If I don't watch the 5:00 episode, will it switch the 7:30 episode to S01E01 or am I just out of luck and missing that episode? If it doesn't adjust automatically, I think that'd be a great feature for the future so that I can drop into the channel and pick up my shows from where I last watched. If it already does it, awesome, I'll finish setting everything up on my server. Thanks!

It's a plugin that's programmed to act like a TV channel, so just like a broadcast, if you miss it, it moves on to the next. What you're looking for is a play-list. A play-list allows you to pick up where you left off.

This app has a "playlist"mode and a setting to only show unwatched content so I don't think it's unreasonable to ask or desire a feature that allows the plugin to not progress to the next episode if the predecessor remains unwatched. Especially since there's no current setting built into Emby's playlists that would allow me to randomize the shows but keep the episodes in order as this app expertly does. 1

I set the scheduled task "Live TV - Refresh guide" going on Saturday morning, but this time I've cleared the crontab etc that turned the media server off, so it's been on since then, but it's only at 15%. Incidentally, the Emby server worked fine during the update, but no one watched live tv....yet... but the films played okay. I don't mind recreating the Channels if it solves the problem, so would it be better if I just delete the VirtualTV.xml file from plugins\configurations, and restart Emby? In effect start from new? Thanks

Hi Dibles, It's running on an Ubuntu server, with nothing else. I guess I'll just leave it running. I read some comments on 4.8.x, aside from all the moaning about release dates and not being very appreciative of the work being done on the upgrade, it mentioned updates to the database on 4.8.x. Do you know if these updates will solve the problem? Thanks
