How can you access the Christmas recommendations on Shield TV?

 

I get a message about the recommendations at Emby Start but I can't find a point where I can access them.

 

And of course still nice christmas days :-)

It automatically added all the movies I have with the "Holiday" genre to the suggestions on the home page.

Hi.  Yes, you need items with a genre of Holiday, Holidays or Christmas.

Strange, in my Emby installation, which is set to German, these genres do not exist.

"National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" for example is under comedy and is a classic Christmas movie.

And there are more of this kind in the library.

 

However, I don't change the metadata manually but leave everything as Emby scans it.

 

Is there a setting that subdivides the genres more finely?

Don't believe there are any sub genres in Emby.  Just the genres that come from one of your metadata providers.  I had to manually add one of the genres above to make it work.
