Files "music" fetches wrong language for metadata info?

Hi guys,

 

I wish all of you a merry christmas! Anyway, maybe I found a smaller bug in selection of metadata content.

In series and movies section of my database everything is fine with selecting "german" as my preferred language. 

but in section "music", I select "german" as well

 

 

 

 

but displayed is - I guess - spanish metadata content:

 

 

 

 

can you please check this? Or is it my fault?

hm, I just enabled all standard options:

it looks like, the spanish text above does come from MusicBrainz, as the english text is the original source:

 

 

 

I asume emby asks MusicBrainz for the album-info, but requests spanish answer instead of german.

can you check?

Try using the metadata editor on the 25 album. Is the metadata language customized to Spanish?

I've checked the metadata editor (which I did not use before).

There are no entries active for language values per album.

 

 

 

I looked a little bit around my collcection and found several albums with english metadata instead of german, and a few spanish.

the issue with the mismached language metadata is only a problem in the Music section. Within films and series everything is fine.

 

Maybe it's worth a look, if embys internal value for "german" is propperly matched against musicbrains value for "german" metadata.
