Can't get an options to select Movies or anything else.

Hi,

 

having this issue for some time and still didn't figured out what i could do, i have 2 tv's with the app installed, one it's a Sony KD-43XF8577 with latest updates and Emby with the version 1.7.54g and another tv using a MiBoxS for sure with the same version, the thing i notice in the two that are the same is:

 

I can check the Latest Movies and Series added, and if i search i can see anything i want, but i don't have an option to select like i have on my Android app on the phone or the web app. Like by categories. In the end i can end session change server and configuring the app.

 

I miss any options Server Side or App side?

Hey, in the web app we find

 

 

In the android app we just swipe from left to right at the top and we can pick the entire collection,  in the Android TV there's no way to select it.

Hi.  Have you checked the "Homescreen Layout" settings in the app?

 

Have you selected "My Media" as one of your home screen rows?

But now it appears that "line" in the web app and android phone app, it's normal right?

Yes, it is.  Those settings are shared for that user across the entire system.

 

Honestly, the fact the items show in the menu when you said not to show them on the home screen, I'm not sure is really by design...

I think the web app and mobile ones works flawless and without many things to change, i just found it weird the AndroidTV, dunno, seems it lacked some QOL that the other 2 have. But no harm done, maybe with time catches up!

Didn't explored thaaaat much... the things and the information i wanted is mostly there. The only thing at this time was messing with my head was the "My Media" line in the main dashboard.

 

Couldn't find it and didn't though it showed like the "bar" that popups from the webapp and from android mobile.

 

But gettin it ON now, adds another line on the other apps that is the same as the popup, for me seems a little less clear. but as a funcionality as it's own the application is 5 stars.
