@@Luke i noticed that subtitles are not downloaded on movie import, only when i click on refresh metadata subtitles are downloaded..
i turned on debug loging and imported movie Interstellar around 3:53 PM and hit refresh metadata around 3:57 PM
Also when i looked at log file, i noticed errors with podnapisi schedule subtitle download, please take a look also at that

They're returning an error code saying:

ServiceUnavailable

So i think you just have to give it some time and try again later.

It is strange, i tried with 5 or 6 movies. Every time i import movie, subtitles are not downloaded, and after few minutes when i refresh metadata, than it's working.. also subtitle schedule with podnapisi is not downloading subtitles at all.. i will try again with few more movies now

Hmm, they might be rejecting due to too many requests in a short period of time.

@@Luke i think problem is with emby server or with podnapisi plugin, not with podnapisi site.

I tried again two times with same movie, and when i import movie i get this in debug log, this all happened in timeframe of 10 minutes, first i imported than refreshed metadata, and again same process.  What i notices is when movie is imported it search for

 

Inception (2010)&sY=2010

and when is refreshing it search for

 

Inception&sY=2010

 

so i guess when movie is imported it search by filename and it's adding a year aftr that, so it's searching for "Inception (2010) 2010"

Also i tried again schedule subtitle download. and again errors, remember i successfully downloaded subtitles with refresh metadata half hour ago.

what is strange, if the "ServiceUnavailable" is the problem, why it happens so quickly between download trigger and error message.

If service is unavailable emby will wait little longer for response, so i think problem is with plugin and api's

@@Luke i don't know, you shoud try at your server, i'm sure you will have same results like i'm.

 

And i found another bug with podnapisi plugin or emby server!

I can't delete srt file trough emby "edit subtitles". New subtitles will immediately download after i click on delete subtitle. strange behavior!
