Returning to the new interface overlay / currently playing?

Hi There,

 

I think the new interface overlay is great, nice work to a dates WMC interface! But, on several occasions I've hit back or another button waiting for a response and it has exited the overlay screen. I would like to return to the overlay and have the ability to skip through scenes etc, but I'm unsure how to...when I choose return to currently playing in WMC I'm presented with the standard WMC interface. Is there a way to return to the new overlay if accidentally exiting it?

Hitting any key on your remote or keyboard should re-present the overlay.

No, he has backed out of the player entirely.  All themes have a return to video button somewhere but they are different.  In Chocolate (the default theme) it is a strange looking arrow and dot kind of thing that will be the first thing in the toolbar.

Had never seen that control before, he he took a bit of hunting down, even after you told me what it looked like.
