Searching for Extras and Naming Audio Options

I would love if extras could be included in search results.  There's times where I'm looking for a certain interview or featurette and can't remember exactly which film it came with.

Also, would it be possible to give unique names to audio options for each film?  Films with multiple commentaries or multiple score options would greatly benefit from this.  I give each track a unique name in mkvtoolnix, which then shows up if I play the file in VLC, but those names don't carry over into Emby.  Then four Dolby 2.0 tracks becomes a guessing game.

Hi, yes it's not a bad idea.

Have you explored advanced library settings?

Oh is this possible to do already? Where would I find those settings?

Here's a screenshot of how the audio options look in Emby compared to VLC, just to be clear what I'm referring to:

It's in the "advanced" tab of the library settings in your dashboard. Change "embedded track title display" to "prefer embedded titles".

Make sure to read the help text warning though.

Bigmack has already stated he's manually renaming his audio tracks, so that wouldn't be an issue in this case.

I'm doing the same thing.

Thank you!  I think this is what I'm looking for.  Quick question before I change it over.  What will be displayed for subtitles if it looks like this in MKVtoolnix:

No specified name, but a specified language.  Will this default to "English" as the title for the subtitle track?

If this will instead be displayed as blank, is it possible in the future to have this option for audio tracks and subtitles separated into two choices?

For both audio and subtitles it will display language and track name. Subtitles also display format if there's no name.

Ok perfect.  So basically, anything I don't touch would appear the same.

For example, here's an episode of Big Bang Theory I have, with the MKVToolnix settings and how it displays in Emby.
