Hardware transcoding failed

Hi,

I use GPU transcoding dailly without problems, but with a new movie I got an error, and Emby failback on the CPU (I attach the logs). The transcoding with CPU works.

(I have Emby premiere)

What do you think is the cause ?

Thank you

I will try to explain : I use gpu trancoding since 1 year without premiere (on previous version 3.x). I buy premiere, and I switch on the 4.x version (in docker).

On the 4.x, I have some problems to use GPU for trancoding : the server failback on the cpu on certain movie.

I attach 2 logs for the same movie, the "work" use the gpu and the other use cpu.

Thanks !

Are you able to play the same title in the Emby web app?

Posted (edited)

I can play with the web app, but I don't have information about gpu or cpu usage (On my screenshot)

@@AppleSeed can you attach the ffmpeg log from the web app playback session? Thanks !

@@Luke I attach the log of the web app playback session.

Moreover, I try with Android App, and it seems work fine with the gpu.

The problems seems appear only on Kodi with the Emby plugin.

Ok I'll work with @@TeamB to see if we can change it to request the subtitles just like the web app is. That should solve this.
