patje57 9 Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 (edited) Is Emby iOS supposed to be able to Airplay video and sound to Apple TV Gen 3? Whatever i try, only sound is playing on the ATV without the video signal. Only poster + time bar shows on ATV, video continues to play on the iphone / ipad. Same files work correctly with the ios app of the other's. Ios = 13.2.3, Emby = 1.8.9 Thanks, Pat Edited December 18, 2019 by patje57

patje57 9 Posted December 18, 2019 Author Posted December 18, 2019 Thanks Luke, Yes, Airplaying the files through Safari works, not ideal, true. ATV Gen 3 is quite old, but still works great up to 1080p and plays files the Chromecast has problems with (mainly series from satellite broadcasts).
