Emby totally screwed. Need help to fix a lot

After struggling for 2 days to get Emby to read one folders contents, a new host of errors have cropped up.

1. Dashboard has duplicate libraries.

2. Dashboards only shows Collections, Movies, Tv Shows, TV Shows, TV Shows, TV Shows and spinning thingy.  Recently added items all missing with all the other usual dashboard goodies.  Settings icon is still there though.

3.When restarting Emby server, randomly the TV Shows Library shows no folders and has no three dot interaction options.

4. Media Browser never stops loading.

When setting up Emby, I set to download all images to media folders and nfo files too.  So if I open a movie folder, I will see the poster and other images, as well as an nfo file.  Is there a way to start over and have Emby use this information to set up from scratch without using the internet?  It took 5 days to add everything to the library and there really isn't that much to add.  For comparison, Kodi was set up on the same machine with access to the same folders and downloaded all posters and completed library setup in half a day.

The reason I want to cut internet usage is I am on 3G which is an unstable and very costly affair.

Anybody care to lend me some knowledge to tackle this?

For now, I deleted the library.db file.  Now waiting for the rebuild to see if that fixes anything.

P.S. when referencing dashboard in OP, I meant the screen on localhost:8096/web and not the server management dashboard.

Hi there, sounds like you went with a nuclear option to start with a fresh database. We were going to have someone reach out to you to provide help but starting fresh is one way of doing it. Thanks for following up.

Given the challenge so far on a new installation, I just don't have the will to spend the whole week fixing various problems.  I tried to run sqlite3 commands and got errors there.  I tried to delete a library and that also didn't seem to help much.  I guess if a nuke does the job in one swoop, then I'm happy to try it.

Thanks for the feedback.

The nuke worked ;) Deleting library.db, though heavy handed, did work to resolve all the issues I had when I started this thread.
