softworkz 5066 Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 We'll see what @@softworkz thinks. Thanks. Can you provide an ffmpeg log with the new version? Thanks.
kamikaze_worm 2 Posted April 11, 2020 Author Posted April 11, 2020 Could someone remind me on how to do that. I did it before but cant remember. Thanks
kamikaze_worm 2 Posted April 14, 2020 Author Posted April 14, 2020 Emby is not creating a ffmpeg log. I have check all over my computer. Advanced logging is switched on. I have attached a overall log file again. Kamikaze_worm embyserver.txt
kamikaze_worm 2 Posted April 24, 2020 Author Posted April 24, 2020 Do you need anything else for this?
Luke 42078 Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 @kamikaze_worm have you tried Emby Server 4.4.3?
rajurules 1 Posted January 12, 2021 Posted January 12, 2021 Hello, first time poster so please let me know if I need to create a new forum. Long time user of emby and have premiere. Troubleshooting: I have updated the computer, stopped the antivirus (standard windows defender, made sure the HDD is good (Crystal Disk passed the HDD) Specs: Running Windows 10 Home activated, A8 7600 with a r7 370. Latest windows and latest Emby server at 4.5.4.0. I am running into the same issue as above with incompatible playback on specific files. I am using google file stream as i have been for years, but recently just swapped computers to this one above mentioned. I have done this too in the past with great success due to the back up and restore plugin. Through research I have found possibly could be a drive permission issue due to the physicals HDD was moved from the old PC to the new PC NTFS (except my read and write is fine and permissions don't seem to be a problem. Carlo 4561 Posted January 13, 2021 Posted January 13, 2021 Hi, are you using rclone and google drive by any chance? Your ffmpeg log shows: 13:41:55.342 [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 000001efcf69ef00] reached eof, corrupted CTTS atom 13:41:55.342 [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 000001efcf69ef00] error reading header 13:41:55.342 G:\My Drive\Cloud Media\Cloud Movies\Klaus (2019)\Klaus.2019.1080p.WEBRip.x264-[YTS.LT].mp4: End of file So it appears either the file is corrupted getting to Emby or maybe there is some setting that is wrong in rclone. Are you able to play the file back double clicking it in File Manager and using VLC or other program?
rajurules 1 Posted January 15, 2021 Posted January 15, 2021 @Cayars I am using Google File Steam and the translation of the file being corrupted before getting to emby i think was it! I can playback the file in VLC on another computer that has Google File Stream however the one hosting emby cannot. I will wipe the drive it was caching on and reinstall google file stream. Upon the above changes I will respond. Thanks in advance. 1
rajurules 1 Posted January 15, 2021 Posted January 15, 2021 Working! It was the local cache of google file stream. Reinstalling and reformatting the drive worked. Thanks!
