I am currently unable to test, but has this been improved since iOS 12 by any chance?

Edit: I keep forgetting to post this in the Web section, can this be moved? Sorry..

Hi, yes, but whether or not it will play smoothly depends on whether or not your device natively supports it. Does it, do you know?

1. Note that I'm playing in Safari on this device

2. How would I check this?

I was able to play some 10-bit content today on ipad OS so yes I think you'll be fine.

1. Direct play with Safari?

2. Whats the best way to do this on Windows without browser supporting it (Firefox, latest version), and no Emby Premiere subscription for the Windows app?

Thanks!

Direct play with Safari?

It was an mkv, so no, it had to be remuxed but the video was not transcoded.

Yeah, meant remuxed. But how about with Windows? Is Kodi my best bet without a Premiere sub?

Why not support the Emby team? We work really on our apps to bring you the best experience possible.

I'm extremely grateful for that, especially how communicative you are, just don't have the money for a subscription right now. Will *definitely* subscribe when I can though, don't want you all to turn out like Plex has, lol.
