Seasons added as unidentified shows

Hi! 

 

I've been using Kodi and Plex forever but I found Emby a while ago and decided to give it a try today.

 

Unfortunately things have not been running smoothly just yet. I began adding my TV Show library and some shows are added correctly while others are imported with seasons as unidentified individual show entries. 

 

I suspect this has to do with the fact that my season folders are written in Swedish. Except for that I'm following the naming standards. Neither Plex nor Kodi have had any issues with this so I was a bit surprised. I have looked for answers or settings but I have not found any easy way to fix this. The only way to get it added correctly seems to be to select each folder individually and using the "identify" feature to then search for the correct show and wait for it to update. This is a very tedious task when I have a lot of season folders. 

 

My TV shows are in separate folders with season folders inside. Säsong 1 means Season 1. 

 

Example: 

/Two and a half men/Säsong 1/

/Two and a half men/Säsong 2/

/Two and a half men/Säsong 3/

...

 

/Friends/Säsong 1/

/Friends/Säsong 2/

...

 

etc. 

 

Is there any way to make Emby treat "Säsong" as "Season"?

Has a library scan finished?  But if they are unidentified Series then we would need to see the server log on by the series is not getting identified.

The scan had finished, yes. I just removed my entire TV Show library and added it again. The scan failed the first time after a minute but I restarted the server and did a Refresh of the metadata. I've attached my log file. 

 

 

How did you setup the library in emby library setup?

 

I chose the root path to my shows. It's a folder containing all of my shows. The shows are in separate folders for each show inside of this folder. 

I also have .nfo files generated by Kodi for each show, season and folder so there should be plenty of information to pick up.
