Malmgren 17 Posted December 13, 2019 Posted December 13, 2019 Hi. I have got a movie (Donald Duck's Christmas Favourites from 2012) that consists of ten short Disney movies. I want to have it displayed in Emby as one single movie, so I read the movie naming guidelines and named the first file "Donald Duck's Christmas Favourites (2012)-pt1.mp4", the second "Donald Duck's Christmas Favourites (2012)-pt2.mp4" and so on, which works like a charm. But since this system only works up to 9 I don't really know what to do with the last one. Anyone got any ideas? Or am I going about this the wrong way? /Daniel
Luke 42093 Posted December 13, 2019 Posted December 13, 2019 Hi, split videos are not supported for that many files. For the best experience I would just join the files.
Malmgren 17 Posted December 13, 2019 Author Posted December 13, 2019 Ok, I kinda expected that. Thanks anyway for the fast answer! /Daniel
pwhodges 2015 Posted December 13, 2019 Posted December 13, 2019 If the part number just has to be a single digit, you might get away with numbering them pt0 to pt9.
Malmgren 17 Posted December 14, 2019 Author Posted December 14, 2019 If the part number just has to be a single digit, you might get away with numbering them pt0 to pt9. You sure? According to https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Movie-naming the this is a number between 1 and 9. /Daniel
pwhodges 2015 Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 I only suggest to try in case that's not enforced strictly...
