Glin 7 Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 (edited) Hi, my collection of movies and TV shows includes files with a German audio track, file with an English audio track and files that include both. Is there a way to setup my server in such a way that I can easily show the German/English language movies (or TV shows) and have the description in German/English? The way I have tried to do it is as follows: 1) Folder structure a- On my computer I created a folder "German" and placed files with German-only audio in there. b- I created an additional folder "English" and placed files with English-only audio in there. c- I then created a third folder "English and German" and copied all files that contain two audio-tracks to this location. 2) I then created two libaries in Emby, one called "English" and the other "German" a- I linked the "English" library to the folders "English" and "English and German". b- I linked the "German" library to the folders "German" and "English and German". What is happening now is that I can indeed quickly filter the English/German movies (or TV shows) selecting the corresponding library. However, the description of the movies/TV shows as well as the cover art is always in English. Any help would be greatly appreciated. @@Happy2Play Edited December 20, 2019 by Luke
Happy2Play 9782 Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 There currently is not a option for multi language metadata. So you have to currently choose what language you want your "English and German" items to be. https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/70964-multiple-metadata-languages/

Glin 7 Posted December 20, 2019 Author Posted December 20, 2019 Many thanks for your answers. I understand that currently there is no solution for what I am looking for but apparently others are also interested in having multiple metadata language available. I will add my request to the post that Happy2Play linked.
