Tech127 20 Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 (edited) XBMC Metadata Saver v1.0.5250.24803 MB3 v3.0.5271.29451 I am currently in the process of organizing my library to make sure I have everything in order before doing away with MySQL and upgrading to Gotham. MB3 does a remarkable job of this. A place XBMC really fails IMO. If I allow the info to populate automatically after adding the folder/movie to my collection, it will look like this: /Batman Begins (2005).mkv /Batman Begins (2005).nfo /Batman Begins (2005).xml /Batman Begins (2005)-banner.jpg /Batman Begins (2005)-clearart.png /Batman Begins (2005)-disc.png /Batman Begins (2005)-fanart.jpg /Batman Begins (2005)-fanart1.jpg /Batman Begins (2005)-fanart2.jpg /Batman Begins (2005)-fanart3.jpg /Batman Begins (2005)-fanart4.jpg /Batman Begins (2005)-logo.jpg /Batman Begins (2005)-poster.jpg /Batman Begins (2005)-trailer.mov There are no thumbs being retrieved, no /extrathumbs or /extrafanart folders being created and the naming is completely different If I delete the above and manually refresh in the metadata manager, it looks like this: /Alien (1979).mkv /Alien (1979).nfo /Alien (1979)-trailer.mp4 /banner.jpg /clearart.png /disc.png /fanart.jpg /landscape.jpg /logo.png /movie.xml /poster.jpg /extrafanart/fanart1.jpg /extrafanart/fanart2.jpg /extrafanart/fanart3.jpg /extrafanart/fanart4.jpg /extrafanart/fanart5.jpg /extrathumbs/thumb1.jpg /extrathumbs/thumb2.jpg /extrathumbs/thumb3.jpg /extrathumbs/thumb4.jpg /extrathumbs/thumb5.jpg My folder structure is /Movies/Movie Name (year)/ so it isn't an issue of everything being lumped together. If I'm not mistaken, the second way above is the proper way for this to be done, correct? What do I need to do to fix this? I am more than happy to try anything needed and/or provide additional information (logs, etc) Edited June 14, 2014 by TechLife
Tech127 20 Posted June 17, 2014 Author Posted June 17, 2014 So does nobody know or has this been explained and I missed it in search?
Tech127 20 Posted June 28, 2014 Author Posted June 28, 2014 FWIW, it appears to be fixed in Version 3.0.5289.18702
