Cannot control ChromeCast with PlayTo function

Hi Guys, I wonder why we cannot control Chromecast from the web application? It works flawlessly from the Android app but not from the WEB app??

Sure you can. Make sure you're using Chrome, and you either have the web app on localhost or https.

Awesome!... I didn't know we needed to use the HTTPS for that! Maybe there is a good reason for not allowing this on HTTP?  Is there any more feature that require the HTTPS?
