bass 0 Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 Hello, can't get through a scan without it hanging. Tried manually adding images and takes an extraordinary time for them to populate. Getting them to download is also taking quite long.embyserver.txt
Luke 42085 Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 Hi, there's no evidence of the scan hanging. It is likely just taking a long time. I would just be patient and allow it to finish. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.
bass 0 Posted December 11, 2019 Author Posted December 11, 2019 embyserver.txt Maybe this log will help?
Happy2Play 9783 Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 That log is full of errors. All external connections failing, timing out except for about 30 seconds where tmdb worked. ImageProcessor: Error encoding image (Could not find a part of the path), Error in ffprobe (Unable to locate BD structure). Also looks like two library being removed 2019-12-11 14:11:22.387 Info App: Removing item from database, Type: Folder, Name: Videos, Path: C:\Users\Administrator\Videos, Id: 184514 2019-12-11 14:11:22.702 Info App: Removing item from database, Type: Folder, Name: Videos, Path: D:\ServerFolders\Videos, Id: 184515 So there would appear to be a lot going on in this log. But I still don't get the title of this topic. What Dashboard Alert?
Luke 42085 Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 Right, no evidence of a hang, just taking a long time. You have a lot of requests to metadata providers timing out and failing. I would make sure you don't have anything blocking Emby Server from making those connections, such as firewall, security software, vpn, etc. Clear that up and the scan will run much faster.
