CoverArt no disc images in collection

Hi everyone,

 

i've try several times to follow the instructions of other posts where i found the same problem, but none have effect.

I've try to refresh all the metadata for all the library and for the single items, but still no cd image on the boxsets cover.

The only thing that i didn't try is to cancel all the Collection library because i'm not sure how to make it again.

i've also try to cancel the collection and create a new one with autobox plugin, but nothing happen. I forget to say that i'm using the last server release on synology

Have you enabled disc images on the movie library as it is disabled by default? Movie library-Show Advanced Settings-Movie Image Fetchers-Fetcher settings

yes, both in film and collection libraries

And do the individual movies have disc art downloaded?  Also ensure FanArt is enabled as a image downloader, since they are the only provider for disc art.

There is no disc art for Boxsets themselves.  The disc art comes from the individual movies.  So do any of the movies from within the collection have disc art displayed if you selected Edit Images on the movie?

Ok Happy, now every film has is disc image, i refresh metadata for collection but unfortunately still nothing. I've also cancel the collection library and make it again without any different result

i try to update some single metadata collection and only on some appear one image...i don't know why

Hi, try deleting browsing data, then refresh the page. Please see if that helps.

I did it but nothing happen. The same problem is in Android TV app, iOs app and browser

If you Edit Images on one of the Collection and redownload the Primary image do the discs appear on the new image?

 

Or if you Refresh and enable Replace existing images on one of the Collection items does it update with the disc art?  If so then the issue is the cached images in "\Emby-Server\programdata\cache\images\enhanced-images".

If i edit the cover image something happena only on some collections 5% of where i have test. If i refresh the single collection norhing happen.

About the chache on synology i dont' know how to reach the folder...

You would have to ssh to the path shown on your Dashboard.

understand, at the moment i can't reach the server in my network and i'm not able to make it remotely (i don't know the procedure). So ill give it a try as soon as i'll come back home

maybe i found the solution. It must be flag the option for the prevent download of all the images in order to have it ready for the use. Now ill make again the refresh of the entire libary and the ill make the same with collection.

Probably a general problem, they are up and down depending on the time of day.  Don't believe their api can handle as much traffic as they get.

oh, ok so still wait because i made the entire rebuilding of the library and now i lost a lot of images

Anyway i confirm that the solution is to save all the images and then rebuild the collection library. Now ill wait for fanart to make it again

But fanart does not make that image.  CoverArt plugin makes that image from the disc image from each movie and the primary image for the Collection.  So if the Collection has a Primary image and each movie has a disc image, CA will create the image.

I know but now when I start the rebuild of the library in order to save all the images locally, it lost all the images from fanart. Where it remain the cover with CD are perfect. So now I'm waiting for fanart service come back to refresh all the metadata

i have the same problem... no images from fanart.tv will be shown.... fanart.tv is online and api key is actualized....
