Why the application android tv is not the same as the application android mobile?

A lot of option is missing

Hi.  All of those things are there in the Android TV app.

 

Can you please explain in more detail where these things are missing?

Its ok for tvshow section but not for movie section. See attached files

Hi.  Is the library type of your movies library "Movies"?

 

If so, go to the "cog" button and click it and, under "Choose the view for this Library" please be sure "Tabbed View" is selected.  If it isn't then you changed this option at some point to eliminate the tabs.

Last question why i cant choose the quality like this 1080 720, i can just choose the speed.

There is a difference in how we display those options and we can look into that but I think the results will be pretty much the same.  The server adjusts the resolution to whatever is most reasonable for the bitrate.  The bitrate, however, is really the most important part.

 

1080p at 1Mb/s would look pretty much the same as 720p at 1Mb/s (maybe even worse).

A subtitle download option would be nice on the android tv client.

it's a shame that subtitle download option is still missing on android tv. It was discussed here almost a year ago and still nothing

Now i have to switch to plex just to do it or even worse try to find my phone in the other room every time auto-downlod on server side does not find a match. Not very convenient either way...
