FR: Server - Metadata saver reminder

Good day,

 

Is it possible to add saver reminder (simply remind you to click on "Save" at the metadata editor (web client) when you edit a title?

 

Sometimes, you go edit many titles, like adding actors, tag, year ... etc, then you go to the next and next titles, after hard work, you find out that all your work been unsaved.

 

Sorry if this FR been requested before.

Perhaps a warning before leaving the screen with edits that you are about to lose your changes.

Or it could save on focus change like other components in the MediaBrowser family.

Manual reminder or notify as Ebr said it the best, auto not good idea in my personal point.

I pushed for auto-saving early on and lost .

 

At the time, the rationale was the fact that tasks were triggered by changes so the auto saving could send us into a thrashing of tasks starting and stopping.  Not sure if that is still the case as we've changed how some of that works now.
