Inconsistent version display - what am I doing wrong?

I'm following the naming convention of Movie (year) - version.xyz as indicated in the documentation.  However, it only sometimes works automatically.

Casino Royale worked fine automatically:

Harry Potter showed duplicates; I manually grouped and it shows like this:

Star Wars I also manually grouped but it shows slightly differently:

I set all file names before moving into the library folder, and I did a rescan before checking the versions.  What am I doing wrong here?

Looking at your harry potter, notice how one set of files has dashes and the other's don't. try making them consistent.

Ohhh gotcha.  I thought from the documentation it was only considering dashes after the (year) but dashes anywhere in the title will throw it off?  The Star Wars ones may have had dashes in the titles at one point as well.

What is the best procedure to force it to re-analyze a folder for versions if the library rescan feature won't catch a file rename for versioning (in the case of star wars)?

e:  nvm, i just had to be more patient than the (very fast) rescan bar completion.  it looks like it's necessary to have no dashes in the folder name as well.

thanks!
