Spind disk when play avi files

Hi,

 

yesterday appear strange situation. During the execution of an .avi file, the disk start spinning fast and continuosly. The only way to stop it was reboot the server. After that i had try to convert the file and everything works well.

The execution was make on ipad with Emby app.

Yes it play normally, except for the Nas disks continuously spinning

Ok, I'm sorry but I'm not really sure what to say to this. The video player is just downloading the contents of the file. You said you converted it, it's possible that a more streaming friendly format such as mp4 or mkv will perform better.

for sure, after i converted playg was normal both on ipad and nas side, where the disks works normally.This isn't a problem, i wolud just inform you about it.
