Download to PC is missing

Hi, 

 

I am using Emby since quite a while. On Android there I can easily synchonuize TV Shows with my Server and mobile device. However, now I wanted to do the same with my (business) PC - but I don't find the PC in the "download to" devices list.

 

I read somewhere between the lines that this function is just available for the Windoes store version ? Is this true ? This would be a petty because my company locked the windows store (but I can manually install some progs with won't need admin rights - so I did install Emby Theater for windows which runs fine). 

 

Any idea how to sychronize (and also transcode at the same time) some TV shows / movies  with my server ?

Hi, yes currently only the windows store app supports that. We plan to add it to the desktop app in future updates though.
