Playback of movies

Hi,

 

when I start playing back the movies of my collection, there is always a black frame around the picture. Is there a setting to specify the resolution or to avoid this?

Some are smaller, some are bigger ... depends on the movie. There should be an automatic setting to determine the size of the sreen... is there something available?

Hi.  It sounds like you have letterboxed and/or pillarboxed and/or non anamorphic movies.  Are these old DVD rips?

 

Those black areas are a part of the video frame but there is a "Zoom" option in the app during playback that will allow you to adjust the display.
