Emby for Windows Client no showing menu

So I am getting Emby back on track and using it more

 

I am finding the client for windows no longer shows me the menu, which includes the progress bar and volume bar and closed captioning.

 

How can I get the client to show that again?

I guess I am.   So, this has been going on for six months?

 

And it requires a rework of the full app?

 

Any ETA?   As I am not seeing a feasible workaround.

There's a workaround in that thread showing you how to run version 3.0.6 for now while the app is reworked to resolve the problem. Thanks.
