sluzu 0 Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 Hi, Recently I notice that is movie or episode has resolution over 720p then I can't play this over command PlayTo in Android apk or web browser on pc. I try this in 3 different devices: Samsung TV, Sony TV and Chromecast. Same result. When mkv has 720p resolution everything is fine, play properly. But when mkv has a 1080p playing even don't start. When I click playTo in logs show entry: 019-11-28 21:34:25.532 Error HttpServer: Error processing request *** Error Report *** Version: 4.3.0.30 Command line: C:\Users\Karol\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\EmbyServer.dll Operating system: Microsoft Windows NT 6.2.9200.0 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: True User Interactive: True Runtime: file:///C:/Users/Karol/AppData/Roaming/Emby-Server/system/System.Private.CoreLib.dll Processor count: 4 Program data path: C:\Users\Karol\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata Application directory: C:\Users\Karol\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system System.EntryPointNotFoundException: System.EntryPointNotFoundException: Entry point was not found. at MediaBrowser.Model.Dlna.ITranscoderSupport.CanExtractSubtitles(ReadOnlySpan`1 codec) at MediaBrowser.Model.Dlna.StreamBuilder.GetExternalSubtitleProfile(MediaSourceInfo mediaSource, MediaStream subtitleStream, SubtitleProfile[] subtitleProfiles, PlayMethod playMethod, ITranscoderSupport transcoderSupport, Boolean allowConversion) at MediaBrowser.Model.Dlna.StreamBuilder.GetSubtitleProfile(MediaSourceInfo mediaSource, MediaStream subtitleStream, SubtitleProfile[] subtitleProfiles, PlayMethod playMethod, ITranscoderSupport transcoderSupport, ReadOnlySpan`1 outputContainer, ReadOnlySpan`1 transcodingSubProtocol, ReadOnlySpan`1 manifestSubtitleFormat) at MediaBrowser.Model.Dlna.StreamBuilder.BuildVideoItem(MediaSourceInfo item, VideoOptions options) at MediaBrowser.Model.Dlna.StreamBuilder.BuildVideoItem(VideoOptions options) at Emby.Dlna.PlayTo.PlayToController.GetPlaylistItem(BaseItem item, List`1 mediaSources, DeviceProfile profile, String deviceId, String mediaSourceId, Nullable`1 audioStreamIndex, Nullable`1 subtitleStreamIndex) at Emby.Dlna.PlayTo.PlayToController.CreatePlaylistItem(BaseItem item, DeviceProfile profile, User user, Int64 startPostionTicks, String mediaSourceId, Nullable`1 audioStreamIndex, Nullable`1 subtitleStreamIndex) at Emby.Dlna.PlayTo.PlayToController.SendPlayCommand(PlayRequest command, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at Emby.Dlna.PlayTo.PlayToController.SendMessage[T](ReadOnlyMemory`1 name, String messageId, T data, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at Emby.Server.Implementations.Session.SessionManager.SendMessageToSession[T](SessionInfo session, ReadOnlyMemory`1 name, T data, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at Emby.Server.Implementations.Session.SessionManager.SendPlayCommand(String controllingSessionId, String sessionId, PlayRequest command, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at Emby.Server.Implementations.Services.ServiceController.GetTaskResult(Task task) at Emby.Server.Implementations.Services.ServiceHandler.ProcessRequestAsync(HttpListenerHost appHost, IRequest httpReq, IResponse httpRes, RestPath restPath, String responseContentType, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at Emby.Server.Implementations.HttpServer.HttpListenerHost.RequestHandler(IRequest httpReq, ReadOnlyMemory`1 urlString, ReadOnlyMemory`1 localPath, CancellationToken cancellationToken) Source: MediaBrowser.Model TargetSite: Boolean CanExtractSubtitles(System.ReadOnlySpan`1[System.Char]) Additionaly I notice that Samsung TV see Emby Serer as a UPnp source, but when I step into library folder (like Movies or TV Shows), they are empty. Can I please for help? Best regards, sluzu
Luke 42085 Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 Hi there, thanks for reporting. We'll take a look.
sluzu 0 Posted December 23, 2019 Author Posted December 23, 2019 Hi, thanks for improvments, now 1080p playing well. But, unfortunately, I notice two new problems now. On my Samsung SmartTV, when I play something over Emby Android App, I can't do any action with movie, because it play movie from begining. When I pause, and play again then movie start from begining. When I change audio or subtitles, same thing, etc. On Sony TV I have diffrent problem, when I start any content from emby android app then play everything properly, but it show message: "Source unsupported". What kind a problem is it? If logs are neccesery then I paste it here, but later. Can I please for help? Best regards.
Luke 42085 Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Yes, please discuss an example and see how to report a media playback issue: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/ Thanks.
