Database Bug in 4.3.0.30

Hi all I've just upgraded from 4.1.1.0 to 4.3.0.30. All my media is there, but emby is not able to write or update the database in any way. I can't add new media, it won't remember the position of any played media etc. Is this some kind of permissions issue?

I am using the rpm on OpenSuse.
Many thanks!

Hi there, why do you feel this way?

Hi Luke,
The new version is unable to add any new media. Also it is unable to store when I've seen a video or how far into a video I've watched. Basically it seems to be unable to write to the database. Any ideas how I could fix this? Is this a bug?

Why do you feel it's unable to add media? Can you please go over an example? Thanks.

Examples:
1. If I add a video to my Video folder via my Operating System and then go to library and "Scan library files" or "Scan all libraries" the Video doesn't get added to Emby.
2. The "Continue Watching" and "Latest" sections of my home screen are frozen - nothing changes ever.

3. If I watch a video and then stop and want to watch it later it starts from the begining again and doesn't remember that I've watched part of it.

4. If I watch a video to the end it doesn't mark it as "watched".

Can we go over a specific example? Thanks.

Ok problem seems to be fixed. In case anyone else has the same issue I did "refresh metadata" in the library, and that seems to have sorted out database issues. Everything is working now.
