Slack notifications plugin - stuck on green circle when selecting users

As the title says, I'm trying to configure the plugin but I can't get rid of the spinning green circle when selecting the user from the dropdown menu. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling the plugin, same thing.

Emby server is: 4.3.0.30 and Slack notifications 1.0.0.2

Does the browser debug console show any errors?

@@ackbarr the plugin will need an update to remove usage of jquery selectmenu and checked() functions. Just convert that to plain javascript and it will work with bold old and new servers.

Sounds like right now I should setup webhooks instead of slack integration to achieve my goal

The Emby Slack notification plugin 1.2.1 has been released and now includes support for images. Please see the instructions in the Slack notification setup to learn how to enable this.
