Delete Library.Db

Hi, 

 

I have seen a few others ask the same questions and with the replies I have managed to find the library.db however it is open in my web browser so I am not sure how to delete it. 

 

I would like to restart my library again as its a compete mess. 

 

How do I actually delete the file.

Hi, you'd have to browse to it in the file system and delete the actual file. Make sure to shutdown emby server first. The server log will show the program data path near the top of the log file. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. 

 

These are the only 2 paths I can see. 

 

Program data path: /Users/aaronrussell/.config/emby-server
Application directory: /private/var/folders/8_/mqn6dp3d7cx05l1mn90dg9ch0000gn/T/AppTranslocation/4405997F-A9D6-4510-BF43-D1299FB2E9B8/d/EmbyServer.app/Contents/MacOS

 

The only way of navigating these is in my web browser and not locally. I have no idea where Library.Db is stored locally for me to be able to delete.

It's under the programdata path, then /data/library.db

Ok so I could not find it because my folders were hidden.
