Folder in the library which are offline

Hello,

i have a folder for tv shows and 2 external drives with tv shows who i have seen complete. I use the external drive as backup.

If i want to see the tv show i activate the drives otherwise they are off.

I want to take her to the library.I think i have two options for that.

First as new libary and secondary as additional folder of my existing tv libary.

Which option is better, even if the drives are off? Or is there no option?

Hi, I don't quite understand. Are you saying you want to be able to browse the library even with the drive off?

Yes something like that.

I have one folder on my nas with current tv shows. And i have external drives with tv shows which I seen complete.

I want to scrap the tv shows from my external drives. so i have it in the database. then i disattach the external drive. is it possible that the tv shows stay in the database?
