looking for a way to segregate Emby traffic from Qnap traffic

Hello,

 

I am having a
Qnap TVS-673 with 4 Ethernet ports
Drraytek router
Zyxel managed Switches.

 

What I would like to do, is create a vpn, which gets a different IP address then the normal range.
Create a Vlan to the second Ethernetport of the Qnap. And  works only for the Emby Application.
So nobody should see the login for the Qnap.

 

I know how to create a VPN.
I know how to create a Vlan.

 

The question is, can I create a second access to the Qnap which only accesses Emby, and not the Qnap itself?

Hi - i dont use a vpn with my qnap as not open to the internet

 

But i would ask on the QNAP forums as more likely to get a qnap answer

I am running into a complete different issue.

Portforwarding should be easy.
I know I did work with an earlier version.
Forwarded 8096 to the Qnap. And looks there is no open port. Yet is my RDP to a virtual machine on the qnap working.
So I had decided to install Emby within the Virtual Machine, and changed the port forward in the router. And it promptly works.
This looks like a firewall on the Qnap itself. I know I have on the qnap several whitelisted ip addresses. But that was not the case either.

I am slowly beginning to think that adding a NUC i5 or i7 with dual lan, and keep the data on the qnap, a better solution
