Hd Homerun Prime not showing in devices - new setup and user

Pretty much says it....  I have just signed up for Premium service and while I have been using Emby for a few years, I have never tried to access the HDHomerun Prime on the network.  The Prime does not show in the Emby Server 'Devices' screen.  I know the IP address... is there any way to have Emby  search forthe Prime? 

 

BTW, I now the Prime is working and can see the Prime web server. The firmware version is old - version F20161117. Does that need updating?

Hi, yes you should update the Prime firmware, and yes, when you setup the Live TV tuner, you can enter the IP address of the tuner manually.

Thank you...  They were found.. I expected that any module that looked for devices would have been accessible via the 'Devices' section.

The Devices section of the Emby Server dashboard is to show you devices that have logged into your server using Emby apps.
