Emby Identifying storage folder as tv series

I'm trying to setup my TV shows folder and i have 2 sub folders in the main folder.  One is called Finished and the other is New.  It recognizes the Finished folder as just a storage folder and does not try to identify it but the New folder it keeps trying to identify it as a TV show and up the identification of all the TV shows in that folder.  How do i set it to identify the New folder as just a storage folder?

Hi, what is underneath that folder? There probably is something that makes it look like a series folder. For instance, a sub-folder that looks like a season folder, or a video file that looks like an episode file.

To start, don't add the root folder to the library.  Add \root\Finished and \root\New to the library separately.

 

Then, as Luke said, make sure there aren't any files in the root of the \New folder.  All it should contain are folders for each of your TV shows.
