Notification Broadcast

Hello!

 

I've been thinking about a new Notification when you add a new episode to a tv show, for example, or add a new movie. New Media added to library. 

 

it will be great if the server could broadcast that notification to all the users or allow an option to broadcast to some users.

 

Like for example if you are on the webclient on chrome you will get a notification that the episode B has been added to TV Show A.

 

you could enable the option at the library level so that you can choose which libraries can broadcast when new media is added. 

 

Not sure if this is already implemented cause i haven't seem it or if it has been requested in the past, I'm kind of new to Emby. 

 

Also if the Admin has a new message he/she wants to broadcast to all users like maintenance or down time.

For the Android or iOS app we could enable Push notifications as well, I have a friend who uses my emby server to watch Anime and he want's to get a notification when I add the new released episode to a tv show he's watching.

 

So what better way than a push notification on the phone that it has been added, of course add a way to enable disable push notifications.
