Fr4nsson 1 Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 Image: The Subtitle is very low, almost at the bottom of the screen as you can see, (the blue at the bottom is my windows desktop background and not part of emby video). Is there anyway i can raise this subtitle text? preferably by css or something.
Fr4nsson 1 Posted November 15, 2019 Author Posted November 15, 2019 What app? Hmm, just windows PC, and chrome.
Guest asrequested Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 I don't think you can do it in a browser, but if you are using Theater for Windows desktop from the emby site, you can.

I see, i would prefer to not use any apps tho, if its possible i would like to find a way to do it in browser, if someone knows how. If not, well then i gotta live with it.
Fr4nsson 1 Posted November 15, 2019 Author Posted November 15, 2019 (edited) Because the subtitle is overlayed it should be possible to change it so it is higher, maybe not by css but atleast by going into the system folder and editing some file/files Edited November 15, 2019 by Fr4nsson
Guest asrequested Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 Every browser will be different, and tied to the player in that browser. Unless you want the server to transcode and burn them in?
Luke 42089 Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 The problem is let's say we move up the subtitles by 10%, and then let's say the subtitles have embedded position info that says place it at 0%. By bumping up the subtitle window by 10%, it means those subtitles that should be rendered at 0 will now off-screen at -10%. So until we work all of that out and how we would handle it, we can't have subtitle position settings in app.
