nando99 1 Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 (edited) So I converted Brightburn at 4mbps and decided I wanted to try a higher quality, I deleted the 4mbps and now every time I try to convert it again it fails... other movies work fine, currently converting Dark Phoenix... I've restarted Emby, restarted the pc and cleared all Emby cache.... not sure what else to do. Any help is appreciated embyserver.txt Edited November 13, 2019 by nando99

nando99 1 Posted November 13, 2019 Author Posted November 13, 2019 Hi, please attach the conversion log. thanks. where is that? I'm not seeing it on the logs page...
Luke 42085 Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 Ok, why do you feel the conversion is failing?
nando99 1 Posted November 14, 2019 Author Posted November 14, 2019 it says failed in red... other movies are just being skipped and I'm guessing that's because they don't need the conversion...
Luke 42085 Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 Try clicking into it and re-queuing the failed item. If it happens again there should be a conversion log. thanks.
mollat 2 Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 Where can I find this 'conversion log' ? I have the same problem. Converted once, deleted the File (quality was horrible! *) and tried again. Now I get only "Fehlgeschlagen" (german Word for "failed" I tried with another movie - works. But this one no more. tried: find /opt/ /var/ /home/emby/ | grep -i conversion ... no results. BTW: using 4.3.0.24 Regards, Andreas *) The movie had a resolution of 1920x1012 with 5.403 kbps before. After conversion to 1.5 mbit (500 MB) it is 638x336 now and has so much artifacts that it is flickering like a well-worn 80's VCR. I can provide you a snippet if you like.
